If you have any doubts that The Great Smoky Mountains are anything less than breathtaking, just come visit in the spring. The wildflowers are beginning to bloom and new life is born. The misty mornings turn into warm afternoons, which is the perfect time for a picnic, and the air is fresh and sometimes just windy enough to fly a kite in the fields.
