If you have any doubts that The Great Smoky Mountains are anything less than breathtaking, just come visit in the spring. The wildflowers are beginning to bloom and new life is born. The misty mornings turn into warm afternoons, which is the perfect time for a picnic, and the air is fresh and sometimes just windy enough to fly a kite in the fields. When you visit the park though, you might want to explore more than just the beautiful mountains. There is also a lot to see in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and with Spring Break just around the corner, now is the perfect time to decide what you want to do.
